Ogni frutto
stringe il seme come giurando.
Cadendo giura e in forma di radice risponde
alla terra che chiama. Alla terra che canta
la promessa infinita. C’è solo vita
niente altro. Solo vita.

Mariangela Gualtieri,
Bestia di gioia, Einaudi 2010

The studio deals with garden design with a particularly attentive approach to the environmental and cultural dynamics of a site.
Reading territory, careful use of water resources and increasing biodiversity are the basis of a project that also relates to the perceptive-cultural relationship between natural, physical-biological and anthropic elements which are the identity resource of the Habitat.
The Garden must tell a story that describes the available resources of a site, working on the harmony between anthropic, vegetal and mineral elements in a close relationship between nature and architecture.
With a humanistic background, Marta graduated in Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome in 1987 and then continued her studies in the field of Landscape and Garden Design, obtaining a degree at the Quasar Institute in Rome in 1996.
Thanks to her dual education, and having also directed a contemporary art gallery in Rome, in her projects there is a close link between Art and Landscape.
Among the many projects carried out, an art garden in Todi (with Mimmo Paladino), a large agricultural park in Capalbio, the headquarters of Brunello Cucinelli in Rome, the court of Stamperie 152 – ex Messaggero printers in Rome, a public square in Piacenza and many private gardens in Tuscany, Umbria, Liguria and Campania.
With Studio Amati-Siproj she won the 1st International TOPSCAPE_PAYSAGE “CITY_BRAND&TOURISM LANDSCAPE AWARD” for the Botanical Garden of the University of Piandanna in Sassari, currently under construction.

Her projects and articles have been published in the major magazines of the sector (Abitare, Acer, Elle Decor, Gardenia, VilleGiardini).
